The Cost of an Executive Transfer

I started A52 Executive Cars along the path to where it finds itself now almost 10 years ago. In that time, as we have grown organically from doing private hire work in a Skoda Superb to chauffeuring in a Mercedes S Class the cost of doing business has grown. I have tried over the years to keep A52 Executive Cars as a quality service that the majority can afford, many times to my detriment, I still have a few old dears that I have been running around for years who love the fact that the S Class turns up when it is available to take them shopping for less than the local taxi firm would charge lol!

Now, almost 10 years on I am facing the extra business costs of becoming a limited company and unavoidably having to register to charge VAT on our services. This, coupled with the ever-increasing parking and drop off charges at airports; Insurance rocketing by the year; Council licensing costs on the up (bet you didn’t know it costs over £600 a year payable to the council just so that I am allowed to work), fuel, tyres, vehicle maintenance, tax,  the list is endless, has led me to revising our charging structure for 2019.

I still believe our prices offer value for money on a like for like basis when compared with many Executive Car and Chauffeur services around the area and wider country. It is also important to note that we cannot compete with the local taxi service on price whilst still offering high-end vehicles that cost in excess of £75k and along with superior service.
