A52 Executive Cars was formed in 2010 to bridge the gap between a normal taxi service and an expensive chauffeur service. We have since grown to provide a chauffeured service and airport transfers to many local companies along with providing private individuals with a reliable quality service. We strongly believe that we can provide professional smart drivers, and cars to match, for personal or business travel all at a price that is both fair and competitive.

The A52 Executive Cars Story
How it Began
After the purchase of a brand new Skoda Superb in 2010, company founder, David Rowen, decided to leave the taxi trade behind and start A52 Executive Cars. The first few years were a struggle due to a couple of bad business decisions but we learned along the way and by 2013 it was time to upgrade the Skoda to our first Mercedes E class. As the company steadily grew with new business contracts we updated the E class to the newer model and then a Mercedes S Class. By 2019 the company had become large enough to become limited and we added another brand new E Class and V Class to the fleet alongside taking on another driver. 2020 looked like it was going to be a record breaker and it was, though unfortunately for all the wrong reason.
A Year to Forget
Where do you even start with 2020? After 10 years of solid growth the Covid pandemic and the worldwide grounding of air travel and business brought us crashing down to earth with lots of tough decisions to make. 3 cars went into hibernation and we only kept the Mercedes V Class MPV licensed and insured. We had the occasional job as travel restriction dropped in and out but in reality in the whole of 2020 we managed about a months worth of work. Without any government help or grants we soldiered on unsure of what the future held but a small post on facebook offering to drive the elderly and vulnerable to their covid vaccination appointment at the beginning of 2021 went viral and alongside helping the wondeful residents of Derby eventually led me to Buckingham Palace for the Queens Garden Party.
How it’s Going
With Covid a distant memory A52 Executive Cars have gone from strength to strength. 2022 saw work increase to pre pandemic levels due to the demand for holiday travel again and passengers wanting a safer and more personalised service than they would get from taxis. I also had the proudest day of my life, not counting my wedding day or birth of my son, when we were invited to the Queens garden Party at Buckingham Palace for the work we had done during the Covid pandemic and i also received the Beacon of Hope award from the high Sheriff of Derbyshire. 2023 saw the A52 cars team jump to five full time chauffeurs with the addition of a brand new Mercedes S Class and a couple of Mercedes E Class estates and again, the increase in work has carried on from 2022 with this year exepected to be our best ever year of trading.

Meet the A52 Team
Our chauffeurs are the face of our business and each one prides themselves on giving a professional service with high levels of road craft offering full assistance wherever it is needed. All chauffeurs are licensed by the local borough council, fully DBS checked and have completed a blue lamp driving assessment as part of their license conditions. We are also working towards having all drivers pass the rigorous assessment to join the Guild of Professional Chauffeurs.
David Rowen
Company founder and chauffeur, David has 15 years experience in the passenger transfer industry following a career as a chef. David is a member of the Guild of Professional Chauffeurs and has the primary role of co-ordinating the business. When not driving or consumed in paperwork he enjoys playing guitar and going to watch live music.
Adam Gaughran
Adam is an integral part of the Team with 15 years experience as a chauffeur. He has a great knowledge of the road network and helps to co-ordinates the business. Outside of work Adam loves trips out with his dogs in his camper van and enjoying live music and theatre.
Basia Wosachlo
Basia is a dedicated and valued member of the team. Whilst she may be relatively new to the industry she has taken to it with vigour and is often requested by clients. She is bi-lingual, being fluent in Polish and English, and when not working pursues her passion of cooking.
Steve Domkowicz
Steve is one of our most experienced chauffeurs with almost 20 years service. As a member of the GoPC he knows exactly what is needed to surpass clients expectations. When not working he can usually be found in a muddy field walking his dogs.
Sean Bailey
Former soldier and detective with Nottinghamshire Police, Sean always has a story to tell to make the longest of journeys fly by. Sean is a first class chauffeur and Guild member, and strives to go above and beyond to ensure every journey is perfect for his passengers.
